2. Placing An Order & Order Processing
2.1 We do not supply light bulbs with our Light fittings unless specifically stated on the relevant product page.
2.2 When ordering from our online checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order before confirming and placing it.
2.3 You will be able to rectify any errors made and upon receipt we will confirm your order by email.
2.4 Our acceptance of your order will only take place when we dispatch the order to you, the purchaser.
2.5 If you do not receive an email within 48 hours of placing your order you must contact method

2.7 All prices shown include v.a.t at the current British government rate of 20.00% any governmental variation will affect website prices, and you will be notified accordingly, if this affects your order.
2.8 We may refuse any order from you where the following apply:
i) the specified goods are not available to us
ii) we cannot obtain payment from you.
iii) we have made an error in the pricing or image description of the product
iv) you do not meet any criteria in our terms and conditions.
2.9 A binding contract shall only exist between us, when we have accepted your payment.
2.10 We may decline your offer to buy for various reasons (see 8.2 above).
2.11 We may alter any price shown on this website without prior notice
3.1 Adverse weather; please allow for delivery delays if there is any adverse weather. Poor weather and road conditions can add time for your order to reach.
3.2 International Deliveries will incur an additional delivery costs. You will be advised of charges and delivery times quoted prior to your order being accepted.
3.3 Delivery estimates are based on business days and there fore does not include weekend days (Saturday and Sunday).
3.4 Most of our suppliers close for a two week period over Christmas and New Year holidays. If any delivery times are a concern to you please contact us by phone or email prior to placing your order.
3.5 Whilst every effort is made to ensure availability of all products on this website at all times we cannot offer a guarantee of availability of any product and the publication via this website does not constitute an offer for sale.
3.6 In the event that we are unable to fulfil your order we will contact you to discuss your options. Options Available are:
i) Put on backorder
ii) Cancel or amend part or whole of order.
3.7 Deliveries will only be made to the address of the card holder, for all credit/debit card payments taken by the company via the telephone or on-line by encrypted means.
3.8 All goods must be checked and signed for by the person who has placed the order with the company and checked at the time of delivery.
3.9 In the event of the goods arriving damaged, you must sign for them as *damaged* and all damages must be notified to the company by telephone or email within 48 hours failure to report any damage ensures we are not able to accept any liability.
3.10 Claims for shortage must also be made to the company by email or telephone within 48 hours, failing which no liability will be accepted by the company.3.11 All packaging and contents must be retained for inspection by the company in the event that a product arrives damaged. the company will replace free of charge any goods received by you in a damaged condition.
3.12 Title and risk in the goods shall pass to the buyer upon delivery of the goods.
3.13 In the event the courier arrives and you are not available to take delivery the courier will leave a contact number to rearrange your delivery. it is your responsibility to contact the courier company to rearrange the time of the delivery. if you fail to take delivery at the second attempt, you will be liable to pay a charge before delivery will be attempted again. you are liable for this charge, not the company, and it will be collected directly by the courier.
3.14 The company accept no liability for your goods arriving damaged, late or being lost in transit. Under no circumstances should you book your electrical contractor to install any product purchased from the company until the goods have been delivered to you and checked by yourselves
4.0 Cancellation & Returns
4.1 To notify us of a cancellation you must email firstname.lastname@example.org prior to us dispatching the goods to yourself. In this event we reserve the right to apply a 25% handling charge in respect of your order.
4.2 Goods that have been sent to you, can be returned to the company within 7 days – unless the goods are bespoke( see below). Under our terms and conditions, we reserve the right to make a 25% handling charge in respect of all such returns which fall outside the consumer regulations (distance selling) 2000. for details see section 19 below.
4.3 All bespoke goods that we order in specifically for you, or that are specifically manufactured for you cannot be returned for a refund and are excluded from the distance selling regulations.
4.4 In the event of you wishing to return any goods correctly supplied , you must notify us by email that you intend to do so. Goods must be returned within 7 days in original packaging.
4.5 You are responsible for the safe return of goods at your own cost. The goods must be returned by means of registered post, and all goods must be insured by you, the purchaser. The goods will remain your responsibility until we acknowledge and accept receipt of them.
4.6 Once we have received the returned goods and inspected them, we will refund your money.
4.7 If returning an order without the company’s agreement a handling charge of 25% of purchase cost will be applied in all cases.
4.8 Defective or faulty products may be returned to us. Please notify by email or telephone for a returns number. You will be responsible for your postage cost. For non–antique products, we will require a reasonable time period to return the product to the manufacturer for testing and assessment (approx 14 days). Once the item has been deemed faulty we will refund your postage cost and proceed to supply a replacement product. If the product is no longer in manufacture we will offer you a similar replacement or a refund.
4.9 The company will not be liable for any cost whatsoever , incurred by the taking down or refitting cost of the faulty product.~
4.10 Missing components and broken crystals or glass shall not constitute a fault. We will replace these items for you as soon as possible.
4.11 If the product is deemed not to be faulty by the manufacturer we will return your product and you will be liable for all of our postage and packaging costs in all cases. The product will not be returned to you until our postage and packaging cost have been met in full. We will only charge you for the actual cost of postage / packaging and our handling fee.
5.0 Product Descriptions
5.1 All descriptive and forwarding specifications, drawings and particulars of weights and dimensions issued by the company are approximate and given only to present an ideal of the goods to which they refer and shall not form part of the contract.
5.2 For technical reasons the shapes and colours of the products may vary from those shown on this website.
5.3 We do not accept any responsibility for any variations, since they may be caused by settings in your own computer system.
